esta semana estamos em férias intercalares, que bom podermos estar juntos sem a correria do dia-a-dia. eu já tinha planeado vir para a praia e descansar da selva tropical de ubud. amo o mar, o som das ondas e este cheiro a maresia. viemos para bingin, no bukit, e estamos literalmente em cima da praia, de manhã praticar, comer fruta, vestir bikini, descer umas escadas e mergulhar.
estar aqui é também um sonho porque estou em casa de um das senhoras que mais admiro aqui em bali, que sinto como uma mãe espiritual.
eu conheci a Soma antes de a conhecer. uma mulher linda, que escolheu a via espiritual da vida e tomou decisões que fariam qualquer pensar duas vezes, como deixar uma carreira na moda muito bem sucedida. mas, por fim, tudo encaixa e a vida da soma parece um conto mágico.
uma mulher entre muitos homens (3 filhos, dois netos) tem uma presença forte e super feminina. construiu a fábrica de rudraskas mais lindas que conheço e que eu tenho o privilégio de poder representar em Portugal, a próxima encomenda chega em novembro!
antes de a ver, soube dela, quis conhecer a pessoa que estava por trás daqueles japa malas que tanto me inspiravam. pensei nela, pedi para a conhecer e quando a vi foi como se a tivesse conhecido desde sempre. passado meia hora estava no carro com ela, a falarmos de nós e acabei a ajudá-la no bali spirit festival. tem uma network com gente maravilhosa em todo o mundo (até portugal!) e um íman que atrai pessoas fantásticas para o pé dela.
chegamos a casa da Soma no dia 13 de outubro, no mesmo dia que o seu guru, Papaji fazia anos, se estivesse entre nós. falamos sobre ele, contou-me a sua história e fiquei fascinada. desde que cheguei estou a ler todos os livros que tenho aqui! um senhor Sri H. W. L. Poonja, uma das mais influentes figuras espirituais dos tempos modernos e discípulo do grande Guru Sri Ramana Maharshi.
desde que aqui chegamos a índia voltou a entrar na minha vida, está a ser a preparação para voltar!
vamos passar o natal, ano novo num ashram e, agora já posso dizer, mysore magic depois! tinha de receber aqui o tão esperado mail, fui aceite num dos shalas mais desejados do mundo, vou voltar a estudar com o meu guru, Sharath. estou feliz por poder voltar a ver o seu sorriso.
aqui magia acontece. quando estamos perto de gente conectada, espiritual e que procura o caminho da descoberta, tudo é claro e perfeito. com a soma é assim. tudo à volta dela floresce e tem cor. tê-la na minha vida é uma inspiração, uma benção. e vê-la crescer na sua missão, levando as rudraskas para outro nível, está a acontecer-lhe! estas rudraskas são tão especiais que vai ser um privilégio ainda maior usá-las! a seu tempo vão perceber.

this week we are in mid-term break, how good we can be together without the rush of the day-to-day. I had already planned to come to the beach and take a break from the tropical jungle of Ubud. I'm at the house of one of the ladies I most admire in Bali, as i feel her as a spiritual mother. Soma. I actually knew her before i met her. she is a wonderful, beautiful and powerful woman who chose the spiritual way - and all her life seems a magical tale.
with lots of men around (three sons, two grandchildren) she has a very feminine strong presence, a real devi, a goddess, a shakti.
she built the most beautiful factory of rudraskas I know and I have the privilege to sell in Portugal, the next order arrive next november!
when i saw the first rudraskas in someone, i immediately wanted to meet the person behind those japa malas, that inspired me so much. I thought of her, I asked to meet her, and when I saw Soma was as if he had known since ever. half an hour later I was in her car talking about stuff and that changed tho course of things and I ended up helping her in bali spirit festival last year for the bakti nights. she has a network of people all over the world (even Portugal!) and a magnet that attracts the best ones around her.
we arrived here on October 13, the same day as her guru, Papaji celebrates his birthday. we talked about the coincidence, she told me his story and I was fascinated. since I arrived I'm reading all the books I have to explore this figure! Sri H.W.L. Poonja was one of the most influential spiritual figures of modern times and a disciple of the great Guru Sri Ramana Maharshi.
since we arrived India started popping up again, preparing me to go back!
we'll spend Christmas there, the New Year in an ashram and, now I can say, mysore magic right after again! I had to receive the email here - I was accepted for one of the most desired shalas the world, going back to school with my guru, Sharath. so happy to see his smile again.
magic happens here. when we are near connected and spiritual souls that seek the path of discovery, everything is clear and perfect. with Soma is just like that. everything thrives around her. and I am very happy to see also her business growing to another level, it is happening to her too! these rudraskas are so special that it will be even a greater privilege to use them!
