what goes around comes around

estou a ler um livro sobre as leis do karma e está a fascinar-me, pela beleza e pela forma como explica leis universais antigas. há em tudo um sentido lindo. what goes around comes around costumamos ouvir e é essa lei da causa-efeito que está na origem do karma. 

karma é uma palavra sânscrita que vem dos Vedas, a biblioteca espiritual da Índia (não é lindo?). na sua origem significa criar. A ideia é que tudo o que nos envolve está conectado e todas as nossas ações estão envolvidas neste sistema de causa-efeito e que as próprias leis da natureza assim funcionam. 

de acordo com os Vedas, o propósito da vida terrena é a evolução do espírito para a libertação. é como estar na escola...

e podemos ficar apanhados nesta constante roda do ciclo do nascimento e morte, a samsara. este é o plano material da vida, onde existe um constante sofrimento para termos as coisas que queremos materialmente e depois vem o sofrimento para as manter.

ou escolher libertar-nos ascender a um plano mágico, onde apenas existe beleza, eternidade, consciência. e estas almas são livres, até de escolher viver no plano material. 

acho lindo. penso em nós, em mim, na humanidade em geral e presos que estamos ao ciclo da vida e morte material. acreditamos que no acumular das coisas materiais reside felicidade. e para isso até somos capazes do pior. a roda gira de tal forma que até esquecemos da nossa origem transcendental. não conheço a transcendência mas não me faz sentido a vida sem pensar que sou partícula de um universo perfeito. e que as leis superiores são mais justas e onde tudo fica espírito haverá absoluto e perfeição. 

gostava de lá chegar. e apesar de estar no plano do circo material até acho que não me devo ter comportado assim tão mal na anterior encarnação porque esta não está nada mal. por falar nisso, daqui a uma semana estou na Índia, na terra dos dos devas e das devis. que emoção.

I am reading a book about the laws of karma and it is fascinating me, its beauty and how it explains the ancient universal laws. what goes around comes around we say all the time.. thats the cause and effect law, that is on the origin of karma.

karma is a Sanskrit word from the Vedas, the spiritual library in India (how beautiful!). in its origin means to do and the idea is that everything around us is connected and all our actions are involved in this cause-effect system as well as the laws of nature.

according to the Vedas, the purpose of life on earth is the evolution of the spirit towards liberation. it's like being at school...

and you can get caught up in this constant wheel, the cycle of birth and death, on the samsara. this is the material of life, where there is a constant suffering for the things we want materially and then comes the suffering to maintain them.

or choose to free ourselves to a magical level, where there is only beauty, eternity, consciousness. where the souls are even free to choose to live on the material level.

beautiful. I think of us, me, humanity in general and how much we are prisoners to the cycle of life and death. we believe that in accumulating material things lies happiness. and for this we are able to do the worst. 

we forget our transcendental origin. I do not know transcendence but it makes sense to me to think that I am part of a perfect universe. and that on the higher laws lies justice where all is just spirit and absolute in perfection.

i would enjoy getting there. and despite being in the circus of the material level I believe I was quite ok in the previous incarnation because this is one is actually quite good too. by the way, in a week I am in India, the land of the devas and devis. how great is that?
