rudraskas, the sacred precious beads

durante os próximos posts vou descrever um pouco do que decidi levar para vender, acima de tudo partilhar porque se tratam de objectos lindos, com alma, com um sentido e energia especial.

começo por apresentar as rudraskas. conhecemo-los como japa malas. na verdade o que elas guardam a maioria desconhece. como dizem as minhas filhas «fazem acalmar as pessoas». A Carlota e a Johanna sabem bem o que dizem.

as rudraskas são sementes preciosas de uma natureza divina. espiritualmente presentes em rituais e cerimónias e meditação hindus e budistas há muito tempo. são consideradas sagradas e de efeito curativo para quem as usa. crescem naturalmente na árvore da rudraska, em locais selvagens mas também em plantações sustentáveis. existem nos himalais, na índia e no nepal, malásia e sudeste asiático.

o nome vem da mitologia hindu que significa olhos de Shiva, o deus que meditou pelo bem-estar da humanidade e acabou a chorar lágrimas de compaixão, que quando tocaram na terra formaram as árvores que dão as sementes preciosas.

Medicinalmente são conhecidas por curar doenças da mente e também do corpo. refrescam quando em contacto com a pele, reduzem a pressão arterial, incrementam a claridade, a memória e o estado de consciência geral. acalmam o sistema nervoso, ajudam a afastar pensamentos negativos, aumentam a imunidade e energia, com qualidades juvenescedoras.

e são lindas do morrer. só podiam. eu escolhi levar as que para mim são as mais lindas. as rudraskas que levo são da Soma, uma senhora linda que veio para Bali há 40 anos. faz as combinações mais lindas que conheço, todas as rudraskas são benzidas. ao usar estes malas ou pulseiras será abençoada com paz e sabedoria para actuar com consciência, amor e compaixão.

today i am showing the rudraskas, we all know them but few really know the deep meaning of such precious beads. as my girls tell all the time «they are to calm down the mind». Carlota and Johanna they both very well know what they are saying.

rudrakshas are very precious beads of a divine nature. spiritually they have been worn and used for puja and meditation, by Hindus and Buddhists, for many centuries. they are considered to be very holy and healing in their effect on the owner or wearer. forming naturally from the rudraksha tree, they grow in the wild, and also in sustainable plantations. they are found in the Himalayas in India and Nepal, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia.

the name rudraksha stems from Hindu mythology and means “the eyes of Shiva”. It is widely believed that the god meditated on the welfare of mankind. He emerged crying tears of compassion. the tears upon hitting the earth crystallized to form these trees.

medicinally they are known to: heal many of the mind, body ailments: they are cooling when worn against the skin; reduce heart disease and lower blood pressure; increase main clarity, memory & general awareness; calms the central nervous system; helps quiet the mind & free negative thought; increases immunity, energy & stamina, with rejuvenating qualities.

and they are just amazingly beautiful. I chose to take the ones from Soma, a beautiful lady that came to Bali 40 years ago. she makes the best combinations, every single rudraska is blessed. by wearing them these beads may you be blessed with peace and wisdom to act from the one heart of love.
